Meet a Joe: Nichole Blizzard
We’d like to introduce you to our office manager, Nichole Blizzard. Nichole is a South Carolina native and is a single mother to two beautiful boys who are the joy of her life. She enjoys painting, writing (see below for a fun fact about this!) and practicing yoga.
Nichole joined Mosquito Joe recently and is thrilled to begin her career here! She is excited to get to know current and future Columbia clients and to deliver a service that truly works. As office manager, when you give Mosquito Joe of Columbia a call, Nichole will be the friendly voice on the other side of the phone. We are so excited to have Nichole in the MoJo family!
What are the biggest strengths professionally that you bring to the Mosquito Joe team?
One of my biggest strengths is that I am very invested in my customers and care very much about their experience. I think when people can tell you genuinely want to help them, it goes a long way. And I like to think it creates a trust between myself and the owners as well; that they can count on me to treat their clients as they would.
If you had to explain your job to a five-year-old, how would you describe it? Or, if you have children, how would your child explain what you do?
I explained to my two boys that we are mosquito hunters! They are only six and seven, but have a full understanding of the pain and aggravation of those pests, so they think it’s very cool.
What’s your favorite Mosquito Joe tagline and why?
“Tired of being the main course?” Because I can relate. I’m always targeted by the mosquitoes at any outside gathering!
If you were shipwrecked, what three items would you want to land on shore with you?
A lighter, a knife, and a Stephen King novel!
If you could plan your ultimate vacation, where would you go?
I would go to Hawaii!! I have dreamt of going there my whole life. I love the beach and ocean so much, and I am enthralled with the islands and their culture. I am beyond thrilled to say that my two sisters and I are finally making this dream a reality. We have booked a stay in Kauai this coming November!
What is something most people don’t know about you?
I wrote a suspense novel. It took me over two years to finish, I’m pretty proud of it and I am currently in the process of having it professionally edited.
